MONDAY
Morning Announcements
Last week, 21 of our Huskies campaigned for positions on our Student Parliament.  They presented their speeches on Friday and the election results are in.  Please congratulate our 2017-18 Student Council Executive:

Nolan and Quinn F., Community Liaison
We look forward to our first meeting on Thursday!

Who wants to get to pick a song that Mr Toth and Mrs Baylor have to karaoke sing in front of the entire school? Then bring a dollar to room 106 and enter your name into a draw to be able to win! This isn’t the only draw you can buy a ticket for today! Visit room 106 during second break to buy a ticket or multiple tickets for our draws, the draws will be done on October 30! 

This announcement is for all Grade 6 students!  Mrs. Baylor is recruiting volunteers who would be interested in helping out with the Kindergarten classes once a week during nutrition breaks.  If you love kindie kids and you want to display some leadership within our school, please meet Mrs. Baylor at 9:55  today in the library!

The Flag Football Team has their first home game today at 3:40 on the soccer field. Feel free to come out and support your Huskies! Go Huskies. Flag football team please meet in Ms. Foley’s room at 1st half of 1st break. 

All grade 6 to 8 classes are asked to select 2 class representatives for Student Council by the end of the day on Wednesday.  Teachers, please forward the names of your representatives to Mrs. Schredl or Mrs. Stephens.

The senior girls’ volleyball team is reminded that we will have practice after school today!

TUESDAY
Morning Announcements
Do you want to be a hero and have your class get served lunch by Mr Toth and Mrs Baylor in the staff room?  Come and buy a raffle ticket today in room 106 at second break! Tickets cost a dollar each! The draws will be done on October 30!

This announcement is for Grade 6 students only.  If you met with Mrs. Baylor about being a helper to Kindergarten or if you would like to be a helper in K, please come down to the library at the beginning of first break for a schedule.

The Flag Football team played their third game and won 14-0 against Montclair. Way to go Huskies! Their next home game is on Thursday at 4 pm, come out and support! Just a friendly reminder, Flag Football team we do NOT have practice after school.

Come cheer on the senior girls’ volleyball team after school, as they take on Pine Grove. Team members are reminded that we will have practice today at 2nd break!

A reminder that BAND will rehearse tomorrow morning at 7am!
