Kindness is contagious: Thank you to Antoine for tidying up the extra music stands in class on Monday, without even being asked!  Keeping our school clean is everyone’s responsibility, great job Antoine!

Thank you to School Council parents, and the parent and staff volunteers who made HG’s Spring Fling last night so great and so much fun to attend.  The weather tried its best to challenge us, but the cotton candy and cake walk helped us forget that the wind was trying to blow away the bouncy castles.  It was a wonderful community event where families and kids were meeting each other and making their play dates for the summer :)

Intermediate Boy’s Soccer Team please meet in  Mr. VandenNoort’s room at first break.

Ms. Parker & Mr. Hays would like to congratulate the Junior Track & Field team that particpated in the meet at Nelson on Monday June 11th.  All students showed amazing HG spirit and we are so proud of you.  A special thanks to the Grade 6 & 7 helpers who helped at the meet.  Way to go Huskies!

The Senior Girls Soccer Coaches would like to extend warm congratulations to all of the athletes on the team.  They all exemplified the Husky Spirit by their teamworthy good sportspersonship and never give up attitude at our tournament yesterday.  Between them we scored, 6 exciting goals and valiently defended their own net.  We have seen much growth in their individual skills and play making as a team.  Way to go ladies!  Don't forget to bring the jerseys to the scrimage against the junior girls on Friday at second nutrition break.
